Theological Aesthetics with Ben Quash

Here is a marvelous video lecture by Ben Quash (King's College London) on theological aesthetics. He carefully places the question of theological aesthetics within the Bible and early modernity, and how beauty relates to larger philosophical questions of the Enlightenment. With modernity, aesthetics gets separated from the larger theological vision, with varied results. I was especially intrigued by the concern for a beautiful (that is, without blemish) sacrifice within ancient Judaism.
